Londonderry, NH - October 17th, 2005 – Laurier Inc., the leader in design and manufacturing of Stacked Tray Feeders for the electronics assembly industry, has signed an agreement with Hover Davis as exclusive distributor to the end-user market worldwide for the Laurier Tray Feeder products. This partnership with Hover-Davis gives Laurier direct access to the end-user market, while ensuring that these customers have world-class service and support from the world’s leading feeding solutions provider. Laurier began integrating feeders with OEM assembly equipment in 1996. Since then Laurier has integrated feeders with over 40 different assembly machines. Laurier’s tray feeder products provide simple to integrate solutions for SMT, test, and other equipment suppliers. Each integration opens up a whole new market to an existing field base of end users with potential Tray Feeding requirements. Founded in 1989, Hover-Davis has established itself as the leader in design and manufacturing of tape feeders and die-from-wafer feeders for the circuit board assembly industry. Hover-Davis was founded by John Hover and Peter Davis. Their products are integrated with most major SMT pick-and-place manufacturer’s machines such as Fuji, Panasonic, Universal Instruments, Siemens, Juki and more. “We believe there are excellent synergies between our existing product portfolio and the Laurier family of tray feeders.” said Roland Heitmann, Hover Davis Inc.’s Director of Semiconductor Feeding Solutions. “By adding the capability of handling JEDEC trays and waffle packs, we take another significant step to being a complete feeding solution provider for our customers.” Hover-Davis will distribute the Laurier JTF2 JEDEC Tray Feeders, as well as the 2" and 4" Waffle Pack Feeders.
